HOLLAND
We started the project Bikepacking Holland in May 2020, during a period of time when COVID-19 had just started to impact our country. Public transport at the time was only allowed for the utmost necessary travel, which forced lots of people to take their bikes to hit the road! This inspired us to become more bike-friendly and encourage bikepackers to reach for their destination!
WHY BIKEPACKING IN THE NETHERLANDS?
Because there's no better way to experience the country.
The Netherlands may be small, but it's packed with variety. From coastal dunes to quiet forests, sleepy villages to lively cities. And with world-class cycling infrastructure, everything is within easy reach. Bikepacking here means you can slow down, take the scenic route, and discover places you'd never find by car or train.
